Threads of her Name

Some stories are written in books.

Some are written in the margins.

For years, I have been fascinated by the voices history forgets. The women whose ideas were borrowed, whose work was overlooked, whose names slipped quietly from the record while their contributions remained. Yet despite every attempt to erase them, traces endure. A note in a journal. A letter tucked away in a drawer. A story passed from one generation to the next.

This story was born from that fascination.

This blog is a place to explore the world behind the novel, the themes that inspired it, the real women who shaped history, and the fictional characters who now carry those stories forward. Here you will find excerpts, reflections, research discoveries, artwork, and glimpses into the evolving archive that sits at the heart of the book.

At its core, Threads of her Name asks a simple question:

What if the voices history tried to silence never truly disappeared?

Whether you are a reader, a writer, a historian, or simply someone who believes every voice matters, I am delighted you are here.

The archive is open.

Welcome.
