In realms where life begins, the power grows,
Beyond the reach of law or ruling hand,
A woman’s body, like the river flows,
Its rhythm set by forces none command.
No king nor court decrees her inner tide,
No man can stake a claim upon her womb;
For deep within, where mysteries reside,
She holds a world that none but she presume.
It’s not for distant voices to decide
The seasons of her cycle, fierce and true;
Her choice, her spirit, where her heart abides,
An endless right that none could misconstrue.
For in her hands, she keeps her sacred might,
Her body hers, like dawn belongs to light.
