In my personal opinion, LinkedIn is no longer a professional networking site. It is now mainly a sales and marketing platform. Not an effective one either. I have been inundated with Inmail requests for dating, harassed and it’s never about the work or anything remotely professional at all. It’s all about the money… Always….
It’s gone the way of Facebook, pushing ads and icons at you all day! Seriously silly. Getting fed up with Facebook actually, ads thrown at you every five minutes!
There is a lot of Toxic posts, post about how one had nothing, then woo woo all of a sudden, you are rish..and YES come and buy my bitcoin? something I feel that you cannot even see, and have had many debates about it…
The ONLY place which a great place to network, with no Ads is Mastodon, I have had an account for a year or so now.. It’s brilliant.

Yes I agree..LinkedIn isn’t what it portrays to be anymore I deleted mine last year.
Social media isn’t worth the hassle 🙄
